Auto Body Shops
Your auto is an extension of yourself. Many people don’t realize this, but it is true. Think about your friends and such. Do the passive ones drive little tiny cars or something big and aggressive? Regardless, you need to take care of the extension of you. Sometimes you can have small problems like scratches or big problems like rust and crash damage. When you do, there is only one place to go – auto body shops.
Auto body shops pretty much serve the purpose the name suggests. They specialize in repairing damage to the body of your auto. They typically do not provide any other services such as engine repair and so on. Some auto body shops also specialize in only certain areas. There is a niche of auto body shops that only do high end performance aerodynamic work for instance. Most, however, do everything you need to return your car to its original look.
If you have car insurance, the good news is it often pays the bills of auto body shops. The bad news is the insurance company usually has “approved” shops. Theses shops often are not the best of the bunch in your town. Instead, they are the auto body shops willing to charge the least to the insurance company. If your insurance is going to pay for repairs, check your policy to see if you must use these shops. If not, definitely shop around as their will undoubtedly be shops providing better service and results.
